The Union Question

Have you seen these articles yet?

A moving appeal by Rev. Kenny Stewart of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Scotland:
Reformed Scottish Presbyterianism: Reunion in the 21st Century?

An FP response, by Rev. David Campbell and Matthew Vogan:
Reformed Scottish Presbyterianism: A Response

If you haven't seen them, go and have a read, then come back and tell me what you think.

  1. Interesting articles, I read them both awhile back. I once sent an email to the FP website asking what the main differences were between them and the RPCS, I received a link to an article back from the FP, but that link is longer working. I'll check them out again and get back to you with comments/questions..

  3. There have been a few more articles written on the subject of church union, some in the public domain and some circulated privately. I hope the discussion continues, as I think it's proved useful.

  4. I agree, but I have to read the above articles again when I have time. My main interest is what the key distinctives are between the various denominations (I prefer the term "traditions")that keeps them from uniting. Maybe someone could make a matrix of some sort, LOL
